Kid Smpl "But I Don't"

Seattle's Kid Smpl to release debut full length 'Skylight' on November 12th via Hush Hush. Listen to the first single "But I Don't" (below) from the forthcoming LP now. Kid Smpl (AKA 22 year old Joey Butler) creates electronic music that toes the line towards ambient but it's too damn sexy for that.

TEEN at The Media Club October 10th 2012

Teeny Lieberson
Last week two fresh Brooklyn band's TEEN and Hospitality were in town to play Vancouver's Media Club. TEEN opened the intimate show with a short but sweet set that captivated the audience without much in the way of stage banter. They played a strong sampling off of their debut LP 'In Limbo' (out now via Carpark Records). The band ended the set with a personal favourite of mine "Why Why Why" (below). The three sisters (including leader Teeny Lieberson) and their friend hung around in the audience after the show to watch Hospitality (who also played a great set). Check out some pictures of TEEN below.

Here's a track from Hospitality too, another favourite from the live show.

(below) now and keep your ears peeled for more from Lupine Bell.
